Alistair is Chief Executive Officer for Marsh’s UK Corporate business. In this role he is responsible for over 600 colleagues across the UK driving strategy, execution and overall growth of Marsh’s Corporate business.  He is a member of the UK Executive Committee and is a main Board Director of Marsh Limited.

He has 25 years of experience in the industry beginning his career in 1995 the London and has spent the last 19 years in Broking.

Alistair joined Marsh 12 years ago where he has held roles including Southern Regional Director in the UK, he spent 5 years as Head of Sales, Asia based in Singapore and prior to his current role was Chief Executive Officer for Marsh in Indonesia and Chief Corporate Officer, MMC Indonesia located in  Jakarta.

Alistair holds a BA(Hons) Financial Services from UWE, Bristol and is CII qualified.
 

Nick is the Chief Underwriting Officer of Markel International with responsibility for underwriting profitability, oversight and risk.  Prior to this role, Nick was Director of Underwriting for three years and also Chief Actuary for 18 years, during which time he built an actuarial team with responsibilities for reserving, pricing, capital modelling and catastrophe management. Nick joined Markel in 1997, qualified as an Actuary in 1999 and joined the boards of Markel’s London companies in 2008.  His professional interests include thinking about how insurance will evolve into the future and he enjoys taking part in the many mentoring schemes available in the market, which he views as an opportunity for him to learn new ideas as much as anything else.
