NGIN’s mission is to empower the next generation to shape the world they live in. NGIN offers professionals in the insurance industry who consider themselves to be the next generation of leaders the chance to develop the key skills they need for a fulfilling career in insurance. NGIN connects people across the whole insurance industry through a range of different events and activities.
We currently have open positions for a Secretary, Event Officer, Social Event Officer, Outreach Officer and Inclusion Officer (Outreach).

Our Open Committee Positions
Secretary:
-
Schedule committee meetings and organise a venue/online meeting invite

Issue an agenda before each committee meeting
-
Keep minutes and record action points, to be distributed to committee following each meeting
-
Monitor the NGIN inbox and ensure that all urgent messages are flagged with the relevant committee member(s)

Serve as the NGIN Treasurer
Event Officer:
-
Co-ordinate events from inception to delivery.

Managing communications between NGIN and event partners
-
Creating Eventbrite invites and email campaign
-
Sending promotional material to Brand team to be signed off and publicised
-
Securing sponsorship for events where necessary
-
Sourcing speakers
-
Moderating events or appointing a moderator
-
Securing recording of events where applicable
-
Writing a post event summary to be shared with Brand team.
Social Event Officer:
-
Co-ordinate events from inception to delivery, dedicated to NGIN social events calendar, including committee socials

Managing communications between NGIN and event partners
-
Creating Eventbrite invites and email campaign

Sending promotional material to Brand team to be signed off and publicised

Securing sponsorship for events where necessary

Moderating events or appointing a moderator

Outreach Officer:

Responsible for looking after NGIN’s relationships with other partner networks such as BIBA Young Members, LYPN, IIL YMC and other industry and corporate bodies.

Build and maintain Apprentices by NGIN content

Direct event opportunities to the Events team
-
Grow NGIN’s industry presence through presentations to prospective members and stakeholders, including fostering potential sponsorship opportunities.
Inclusion Officer:
-
Responsible for looking after NGIN’s Inclusion@Lloyd’s status. This includes overseeing communications and strengthening relationships with I@L board members, other Lloyd’s partner networks and attending the associated meetings

Responsible for NGIN’s relationship with the IICF
-
Engage with the DiveIn Festival and coordinate with Events to deliver NGIN’s offering
