Hosted in the timeless Lloyd's Old Library, join NGIN and BIBA for the next in our 'Back to Basics' series.

This time on the interesting and often complicated world of insurance claims.

Jeremy Trott, Head of Claims at Allianz, will kick off our seminar with an overview of the lifecycle of a claim. Jeremy will share the typical challenges he faces in his role, how the claims process is evolving, the growing importance of claims for our market and examples of what to do when things don't go according to plan!

Phil Kusiak, Senior Associate at HFW, will outline the role of the expert in the claims process, the type of experts involved, as well as his thoughts on why claims are becoming more and more complex.

Lastly, Richard Neylon, Partner and kidnap and ransom claims specialist at HFW, will round up our seminar with an insight into kidnap and ransom claims. Richard will share a number of strange, unexpected and interesting examples of claims that have proven more than a challenge to deal with!
